Due to the ongoing needs of our clients, upon hiring, we would like the ideal candidate for this position to hit the ground running. The chosen candidate should have an overall understanding of the medical billing process as a whole. The candidate should have experience submitting claims through and utilizing the TheraNest and Availity platforms. They should have experience and a thorough knowledge of how to handle and process medical billing and claims. They should be capable of handling insurance verifications and processing incoming reports, but most importantly, they should be understanding and compassionate being that our client base is very diverse and at times, the candidate will have to communicate and connect with them. This person should also be extremely detailed oriented and must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.
We want someone who has a true passion for mental health therapy and is going to take pride in and own this role within our organization where they will be the point of contact for insurance claims, billing, verification, etc. You will be the key to our continued growth allowing us to reach more people who need our services. This is a part-time contract position which pays $15.00 per hour. The position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. There is also ample room for growth in this position because as our organization grows and this candidate grows with us, there is a great opportunity for this person to be promoted to the Director of Accounts Receivable for Mobile Wellness Incorporated.
