About us:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Complaint Handler to join our team in the medical device industry. As a Complaint Handler, you will be responsible for managing customer complaints related to medical devices and ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and document customer complaints related to medical devices
- Investigate complaints thoroughly to identify root causes and develop appropriate corrective and preventive actions
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather information and provide updates on the status of their complaints
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing, to resolve complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, such as the FDA's Quality System Regulation (QSR) and ISO 13485
- Maintain complaint records and prepare reports for management review
- Continuously improve the complaint handling process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Provide training and guidance to other employees on complaint handling procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Engineering or Life Sciences
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably in complaint handling or quality assurance
- In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, including the FDA's Quality System Regulation (QSR) and ISO 13485
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
